This Friday November 20 we will be airing another episode of “21st Century Entrepreneur” which is an Internet Radio Program aimed towards educating business owners and their advisors on how to make their businesses more successful and profitable. It is a show hosted by JC Maldonado who is the CEO of BizGro Partners and Joan Pelzer, the founder of Joan Pelzer Media. This week we will continue November’s Theme of “Business and the Law.” We will be discussing new updated issues with regard to both Immigration & Employment Law which are going to have huge impact on the business and political landscape in 2016. Gary Ireland – Legal Counsel to Executives in Transition
Gary has been working as an attorney, starting in 1991, in bankruptcy and commercial litigation. Soon after, Gary was retained in an age discrimination employment action against Chrysler were he prevailed at trial and before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Gary is a experienced and successful problem solver working closely with executives in transition to resolve issues through alternative dispute resolution – mediation and negotiation – as well as through traditional litigation. Gary frequently coordinates with executive coaches, HR professionals and recruiters to address legal issues during employment transitions.
As General Counsel to a technology firm representing corporate interests and protecting patents, Gary has broad experience in proactively working with business organizations to seize opportunities and avert liability. Gary prevailed as lead counsel in a number of high profile matters, and has represented clients on matters involving a commercial airline and an international sports organization. Gary regularly works with social justice and civil rights organizations to initiate national policy change. With Attorney General Eric Holder offering the Keynote Address, Gary received the NAACP Foot Soldiers’ Award at the 100th anniversary celebration of the organization.
Gary is a graduate of Columbia University and NYLS.

Ms. Gupta practices primarily in the areas of Creditors’ Rights, and Business Immigration. She has been successful in representing the rights of many Creditors in the Eastern and Southern Districts Courts of New York. While she practices litigation, she also handles transactions on Business Immigration for investors, entrepreneurs, and employees entering the US. The Firm’s international reach benefits her clients abroad who would like to come to the US for business on specialized artist, entertainment, investment and other business visas. Prior to forming the law firm of PANTANO & GUPTA, Ms. Gupta worked at a solo practice in Queens, New York. She completed a post-graduate fellowship at the Office of the Attorney General of the District of Columbia. While in law school, Ms. Gupta served as an extern for the Honorable Mary J. Boyle of the Eight District Court of Appeals of Ohio, and worked in the Civil Litigation Unit for Cleveland Law Department. She attended law school at Case Western Reserve University.
Ms. Gupta participates in the Legal Aid Society of New York, pro bono Bankruptcy project assisting those who otherwise would not be able to afford quality legal representation. She has also participated in the Bread for the City Volunteer legal clinics. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, New York County Lawyer’s Association and the South Asian Bar Association of New York. Ms. Gupta is the Vice President of Chapter 24 of the Business Networking International in Manhattan.
